Data Usage and Privacy Statement

The Dresden International PhD Program is jointly organized by the Dresden International Graduate School for Biomedicine and Bioengineering (DIGS-BB) and the International Max Planck Research School for Cell, Developmental and Systems Biology (IMPRS-CellDevoSys).


Use of Information

Data submitted through the application process is saved to our systems as it is filled in. This data can be accessed, as necessary, by administrative staff to monitor and assist the application process. This access has no effect on the evaluation of your application. After an application has been submitted, the information will be used by the faculty and groups participating in the Dresden International PhD Program in both electronic and hard copy form. Information will only be transmitted to other persons or institutions if you explicitly granted us permission during the application process. Every attempt has been made from our side to keep the data private and secure.


Retention of Information

All application data is deleted if the application has not been submitted following the closure of the application round. Data of submitted applications will be kept for legal and record keeping reasons.
